It's true, it has been work, work, work around the morninglori studio. But don't think, for even a second, that I haven't taken time to enjoy the loveliness that is happening outside.
This past weekend my pal Stacey and I took a wee road trip up to Yellow Springs, OH for a girls and dogs only get-away. What an absolutely perfect weekend! The trees were in the prime of their color-changing antics and it was a bit chilly so hardly anyone else was camping. Which means we had our pick of beautiful campsites. We chose this one, on a bed of leaves under a giant yellow tree.
Being girls-only, it was easy to balance this trip with a nice mix of hiking, shopping, camp cooking, dining out and just plain hanging out.
Did somebody say shopping?....
I got this absurdly adorable little knit hat. It's merino wool with a crazy-soft fleece lining. And it's really warm. I just couldn't resist that silly antenna thingy sticking out of the top.
This purse is made of recycled burlap rice sacks and it's in one of my all-time-favorite color combinations. There was no passing that up.
And finally, this sweet beaded bracelet, It has pretty much every color there is so it'll go with everything (including my new hat and purse).
I'll leave you with this...
It's an enchanted bridge; I'm certain. Go ahead and cross it, see where it leads you.
